Here's a fun shot of Spinksy and myself back in c 1992 at Wykham Mill Bloxham, home to the Jaguar XJ220 Supercar, John was Parts Sales Manager for us at the time (Click on it for a larger image).

The shot features a brand new £400K Jaguar XJ220 fully liveried up as a Scottish Police Car. After the official Road Safety Campaign Poster shots for the Grampian Police, John and I got a slice of "The Old Bill" action. What a laugh, we even look liked fairly plausible cops ??? Shame about the neck ties.

Myself and all of the team here at Aston Martin that migrated from JaguarSport to Aston Martin along with John in 1994, were deeply saddened to here of the tragic news. As a Company we are planning a floral tribute, and our thoughts will be with John and his family on the 5th of November. Regrettably, I can't be at the funeral owing to a US business trip, but will always remember John as a top bloke with a wicked sense of humour who liked a cold beer or two on a hot day.

Sadly missed, but many fond memories.
